LunaCrete® Bond Coat is a one component, high perfor¬mance blend of high quality Portland Cement, modified Co-Polymers, Silica Sand and Iron Oxide Pigments. It is designed for maximum Strength, flexibility, adhesion, abrasion resistance, and freeze/thaw resistance. By having all of the necessary ingredients pre-blended in a controlled environment, proper ratios of Co-Polymer to cement, and cement to silica sand is consistent, which promotes product uniformity, and because of the unusual characteristics of this formulation, it may be used for many different applications. Advantages
•Superior Adhesion •Abrasion Resistant •Maximum Flexibility •Extended Set Time •UV Stable •May be Chemically Stained •From Featheredge to several inches in thickness •Enhances job productivity and reduces job-site errors. •Superior for patching and leveling concrete •Initial cure in 1 hour (based on 1/32 inch) •Superior bond strength.
Benefits
•Non-shrink for maximum adhesion and durability •Resistant to freeze thaw and automotive vehicular traffic •Thermal expansion similar to concrete •Easy to trowel, broom, squeegee or spray apply to achieve desired finish •Superior bond strength on cured to cured, or fresh to cured concrete. •Works on vertical as well as horizontal surfaces •One component: just add water. •Moisture insensitive after initial cure.
Basic Uses
LunaCrete® Bond Coat is widely used to resurface and restore existing concrete surfaces. The LunaCrete® surface restoration system provides an attractive appearance to irregular, worn and damaged concrete surfaces.
